The Complete Home Dual Tank system is the one we install when a house needs its water fixed at the source, not at one faucet. It mounts where the main line enters the home, so the kitchen, the showers, the laundry and the water heater all draw water that has already been treated.
Two tanks do two different jobs. The first holds catalytic carbon, which takes out the chlorine taste and odor and also handles chloramine, the disinfectant some city systems use that ordinary activated carbon removes slowly. The second is an ion-exchange water softener that pulls out the calcium and magnesium behind scale on fixtures, spotted glassware and soap that will not lather.
The equipment is the Hydrotech HT89UF HTO. Before anything is installed, a free in-home water test tells us what your water actually reads, and the tanks are sized to your home and your numbers rather than to a catalog default.
AquaFine catalytic carbon takes the chlorine and chloramine taste and odor out of every tap, including the shower, where a pitcher filter never reaches.
AquaFine cation-exchange resin trades hardness minerals for sodium, so scale stops building on faucets, glass shower doors and inside the water heater.
The softener regenerates by pushing brine up through the resin bed, the design Hydrotech builds this series around, from a digital control valve on 1-inch connections.
Hydrotech builds this system in five sizes, from 25,000 to 75,000 grains of hardness capacity. Your water test and household size decide which one goes in.

Yes. MAWSS disinfects with chlorine and chlorine dioxide, and its 2025 water report says chloramine was not used. The carbon stage is catalytic carbon, which handles chlorine and also copes with chloramine, which ordinary activated carbon removes slowly, if a supply ever uses it.
