After a storm, a flooded wellhead means surface water reached the well, carrying whatever it crossed on the way. Disinfecting the well itself follows the health department's procedure and is not something we do; our part is the treatment equipment behind it — flushing sediment out of the lines, inspecting the UV system, and swapping cartridges the flood fouled — so the water that has been made safe is not run back through contaminated filters.
